Parents' 2017 Tax Return

Instructions
US Income Tax Return
To help verify your parents' income, you will need to submit a signed copy your parents' 2017 federal tax return.  This includes:

  • Form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ
  • All W-2s and 1099s
  • All Schedules

In addition, if your parents' own corporations, partnerships or trusts, please include copies of those tax returns (Forms 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S, K-1).

You should submit your parents' tax return and all supporting documentation directly to the College Board by uploading it to the IDOC website.  Be sure to have your parents sign their tax return before you upload it.

Non-US Income Tax Return
To help verify your parents' income, you will need to submit your parents' 2017 national income tax return or their most recently filed statement, including all supporting schedules. All income documents should be translated into English.

In the absence of your parents' current tax return, you may submit a statement from your parents' employer instead.  This statement should verify your parents' annual earnings and be stamped or signed by an official of the employer.  Please have this statement translated into English, if necessary.

Prospective international students: Submit this documentation to our office by e-mail.

All other students: Submit your parents' tax return or wage statement and all supporting documentation to the College Board by uploading it to the IDOC website
